Necessary materials

 

Mutton – 3/4 kg
Khawmbu powder – 4 tsp
Chili powder – 1 tsp
Coriander – a pinch
Salt – as required
For grinding
Coconut – 1/2 lid (cut into small pieces)
Small onions – 8
Poppy seeds – 1 tsp
Anise – 1 tsp For seasoning
Bay leaf – 1
Bay – 2 pieces
Cloves – 2
Garlic – a little
Anemal – 1/2 teaspoon
Small onion – 8
Tomato – 2 (large)
Oil – as required
Recipe

Cook the mutton in a cooker with one teaspoon of curry powder, chili powder, half a salt and cook for 3 whistles.

Just put the anise in a pan and when it changes color, add the poppy seeds and fry them and keep aside.

Seasoning
Pour a little oil into a pan, add coconut and onion and fry until lightly fragrant.
Saute
Grind the roasted coconut, poppy seeds and anise together in a mixer. Add the ground paste to the cooker.

Pour oil in a pan and add anise, cardamom, and cloves. Add chopped onion and sauté it and add tomatoes. Once the tomatoes are sautéed, add the remaining curry powder and stir.

Add a little water and let it boil. Once it boils, add salt to the cooker and boil for 5 minutes. Sprinkle coriander and let it cool down.
